The KMU Department of Pediatrics, established in 1972, is committed to excellence in education, research, and the clinical care of newborns, infants, children and young adults. We prepare leaders in pediatric medicine by offering broad-based training which consists of a three-year, structured core training program in general pediatrics, critical care and pediatric subspecialties within a variety of ambulatory, inpatient and community settings. Pediatric subspecialties include Hematology/Oncology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Allergy and Immunology, and Neonatology.
